I ate at Smitty's Grill often before the pandemic. It gives me such pleasure to say that their food is as spectacular as ever! We don't eat Prime Rib, except at Smitty's. We also don't eat Beef Stroganoff, except at Smitty's! The creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese with ham were simply sublime, as well. Eating these dishes at home was EXACTLY what we needed after a stressful day.

I understand prime rib is usually served rare, and I do enjoy rare prime rib in some cases; however, as someone who is sensitive to textures, in this form, it was too chewy and unpleasant for my taste. There were multiple instances where I had to spit out my food because I was unable to chew the meat. The au jus was flavorful and delicious, I just wish there was more of it; there was really only enough for one half of the sandwich, and I wasn't even able to eat a full half.

Grilled artichoke was undercooked. Packaging was not secure - box with artichoke was open and the soup container was laid sideways inside the artichoke box. Bag was not secure (open paper bag, not staples or taped), food was exposed.

too much lemon in the ceasar dressing, the Maine Lobster Roll was very good; I made a poor choice with the Sautéed Idaho Rainbow Trout it doesn't travel well it was just ok.

The chili was disappointing.There was half an inch of orange grease on top with more down below. I've had better chili at places similar to Tommy's or Tops. Remind me not to spend my money on Lake for such overpriced sub par mediocrity.
