I'm pretty sure I've already reviewed Zum, but it's worth saying again. I love this restaurant! Ive actually never even been there but I'm a regular, and they treat me like one. A+ hospitality. I mentioned that it was my bday this weekend and my cat's bday a couple of days ago, and look what they did! #catlady
Their fish is always fresh and very generously portioned , and they always read the notes.

The Fresh sake (salmon) is a particular standout, with wonderful texture and large piece of fish that hangs over the ends of the rice. We've tried a lot of the local places, and Zum is our go-to favorite with fresh fish and good variety. Slices are thicker than truly authentic, but tasty and reliable.

The rolls were very fishy (smell and taste) and not good - we didn't finish our $60 meal.
the vegetarian roll was fine but it wasn't clear that the "cheaper" rolls came with less sushi pieces. I thought they all came as $8.
there are better sushi places around and I'm disappointed to spend so much money on something I couldn't eat.

I couldn't love this restaurant more! Very generous portions of very fresh fish. Always perfectly packaged, including wrapping my ikura so it doesn't spill en route. They always pay attention to special requests, whereas many restaurants miss those. I've never been in person, but I've gotten DD delivery from them about a million times (iwonder if it's possible to look up the number?) , and they just seem like really good people.

I wish I had remembered to take a photo of this amazing lunch. The Chicken Katsu was so good and so much food! Very fresh too. Love the katsu sauce packets that were sent with it. I will definitely get this again!
