• 2 days agoEverything was delicious, and packed wonderfully. I ordered 2 Goya Malts instead of 1 which was the only error in my order. 5 Stars regardless, amazing hospitality!!

• 5/3/26The stewed meat is so tender in the Egusi (Melon and Spinach) Stew . The fufu/ pounded yam is soft, smooth and bouncy too. Overall, I really enjoy Chobas. They are consistently good; whether you order it on Doordash or go in peson.

Portion:
I recieved a good amount of stewed African Stewed Beef, Jollof Rice, and Pounded Yam Fufu.
The not so good:
Flavor: The Jollof Rice was not what I was used to eating. I'm used to it being spicy and tomato based. The African Stewed Beef was subtle in flavor.
Overall, it was not for me.

• 10/30/25The Steamed Cabbage was bland, but glad a vegetable. The Beef Suya was tasty, but it's a small portion size. I got jollof rice and plantain as my side. It was pretty good. Everything was fresh. I plan to order again.

• 5/6/25The GOAT Meat Pepper Soup was delicious very flavorful and had a good amount of meat. If you're not into spicy food or have a low spice tolerance this dish is not for you. I love spicy food so I enjoyed it.
