I wish every sandwich shop made sandwiches like this. All the flavors work together to make one supreme, mind boggling flavor that makes you grateful to walk god's green worth. Two fresh pieces of one big sandwich make any day turn into a great one

Not enough tuna in the sandwich and very sweet tuna salad, bread tasted and felt old when biting into it. Really disappointing quantity and quality for the price.
Clam chowder was pretty good, really the only reason to give even 2 stars but that was overpriced too. Disappointing to say the least.

I LOVE LOUS. You must get the special sauce and jalepeno sauce, and get your sandwich on dutch crunch. Trust me. Best sandwich in SF and that's saying something cuz SF has the best sandwiches in the world!

I love Lou's. I'm a regular. But my last two visits have not been good. I scheduled the sandwich for 2:00 pm pickup. They made it at 1:00 pm when I ordered and just let it sit there.
My last visit I ordered a salad over the phone. When I went to pick it up, they forgot to make it. No problem, I wasn't in a hurry. They made it on the spot. I got home, and they had just thrown giant chunks of mostly uncut lettuce into the container and covered it with toppings. I'm talking like, just quarters of iceberg lettuce.

Lou's has some of the best sandwiches in the city. Always polite, consistent, great quality , delicious sandwiches. Their secret jalapeño sauce is deelish! We love their tuna melt,?Italian Special and Amicado are some of our faves.
