This restaurant is the best in Sacramento for your money. For 4$ more than 1lb basmati rice. And chicken tandoori is so good and big for price also. This food will be my 2 meal. And you guys also should go there and have the buffet, really cheap

One of my favorite places!! The nihari is always so flavorful and tender it falls apart when you eat it. For those sensitive to heat this dish is on the spicer side but still delicious. Good portions of rice :)

(just a heads up, all of the food is going to be a little spicy when you order) The ORANGE CHICKEN is very saucy and has a nice little spicy kick to it. The CHICKEN BIRYANI is also very well flavored (but be careful for small bones from the chicken). The MANGO LASSI was refreshing. CHICKEN TIKKA BOTI BONELESS BREAST (8 PIECES) was the perfect kabaab flavor and texture. The only thing i didn't really like was the gulab GULAB JAMUN (4 PIECES) the texture wasn't what i was expecting (but if you like cinnamon french toast, you'll probably like this dessert). The MASALA TEA was okayish but sadly spilt all over the bag it was in. And the Garlic GARLIC NAAN was nicely flavored and soft as well. went very well with everything.

Ordered the COMBO PLATE SPECIAL. Was a bit surprised to find the Chapli to be made of chicken but the flavors were quite good. So too were both the chicken and channa. The VEGGIE SAMOSAS were the highlight, excellent flavor for the filling and the crust was a perfect crispy, layered cook.

I really like the restaurant, my order was substituted with Spinach and I can't eat spinach due to allergies but the roti was really good and fresh also they included the mint sauce and onions on my request. I am really coming to try their chicken tikka next time.
