I was so excited to try out Nelson the Seagull and part of my order was a baguette. When the baguette arrived it was SO small, and I was disappointed as for the price I paid as you can go to Terra Breads for the same price and get a large baguette. However, that wasn't the kicker, the real issue was when I picked up the bread to cut it, it was rock solid. It felt more like a bat then bread - this was so disappointing as it went straight in the garbage. When I called the store to let them know, the person answering was incredibly unhelpful stating 'that's our baguettes'?! I said moving forward please don't send bread out that's inedible and she said okay I will tell our owner. Terrible bread and even worse service.

First time ordering from here because it was trending. Pleasantly delighted. The Full Nelson Sandwich was cool but not cold. Tomatoes very juicy. Well cut tasty sandwich. The PB & J on Toast was exemplary. Would definitely order it again if I'm craving PBJ.

If you are looking for Vancouver's best cafe, look no further. Real ingredients, tasty combinations and incredible quality. The bread is out of this world no matter which you choose. I order a Full Nelson sandwich and a sour dough loaf every week !
