Always a treat, everything is consistently good quality and great for the price. Red Beans & Rice are deliciously spiced. I substituted cornbread waffle in the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffle (2pc) and it was fantastic.

The chicken was fine however the mashed potatoes for nine dollars was very small portion. There wasn't more than a tablespoon of gravy with it and the cobbler didn't have any cobbler. It was just fruit.

The Enchilada Plate is always super good!
The chile is mouthwaterinly hot (I'm from here) and the flavors and textures are spot on. Some of the best stacked enchiladas in town. The beans are cooked just like I like them.
Want to take a moment to remind people using this app that Nexus has been at the mercy of an interstate construction project affecting their business as well as some substantial issues with their DoorDash App/POS lately. They are good folks trying their best and every time I order I am grateful that they offering reasonably priced home cooking that I am able to get delivered to my home at the end of a long week like this. Please be patient with the restaurant and with your dasher as they navigate all of this <3

NM hot tenders are ALWAYS so good, hot, spicy, and juicy. For me, it's 2 meals if you got sides. IMHO some of the best chicken in town!

The chicken was really good, I had the drumstick and thigh Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles 2 Pieces , both were pretty big, the Belgium waffle was thick. The butter that came with it was completely melted though, so they should probably put the butter in a separate container.
