ordered it through door dash 30 minutes before closing, and they nailed everything. I am truly grateful to the team because we are visiting chicago hoping for a nice hot meal after 10, and they provided a delicious, hot meal. garlic shoyu noodles, karage, and the beef sukiyaki fried rice bowl were all solid. thank you to the wonderful team at Gyu-Kaku! 10/10

A full meal, very tasty. Delivered still hot. Way more affordable and easy than going out. I had beef ribs, shrimp (great job barbecuing), gyoza, edamame , miso and salad to keep for lunch tomorrow.

Nothing against the restaurant but the description of the dish led me to believe this would be something on the sweeter side. Instead it was SPICY. I don't think I'll be reordering this dish Umakara Beef Rice Bowl (GAH) again, the meat was good but had I known it would be spicy I would've ordered something else. I can't really eat spicy so I kinda struggled with this, not sure if I'll order from them again because I don't remember seeing anything else I might like on the menu, but we'll see. Also, they didn't include chopsticks or soy sauce. Decently packaged though, and it comes with miso soup.

Great food! However, they did not double check the meat portions for the bento. Ordered 7 oz but only got 3.5 oz.. Simple mistake. Luckily was able to get reimbursed from Door Dash. Otherwise, everything tasted delicious and was great!

Everything tasted ok, I just think that for the prices, the portion sizes were very small 🥺..... especially the cream cheese Rangoon and the Japanese Fried Chicken Karaage
