Italian Feast again... Yes. Supreme meaty Spaghetti sauce generously topped with cheese and parmesan served over heavenly noodles and waiting under all that goodness. A mouth watering perfectly seasoned Parmesan chicken breast. Truly generous portions and quality ingredients. Thank You Abele's Family Restaurant.

The absolute best The Ultimate Club I may have ever had! It's huge and so delicious. Everything at Abele's is good. I wished they offered a country vegetable plate option. Their veggies are better than some other places...Also, the Reese's Peanut Butter Pie is to die for if you're a chocolate and peanut butter fan.

Abele's Family Restaurant is a Morganton gem. Many Restaurants have come and gone over the last four decades as have many trends in the resteraunt industry. Abele's has seen them all come and go and they're still here. Still owned by the same family and still making the fabulous home style food at reasonable prices that have kept them in business for decades. At one time the restaurant was a Shoney's so if you miss that slice of Americana you are in luck. Abele's still has many of the Mainstays from that menu along with introductions of their own. Great Burgers, Fries, Onion Rings and old fashioned Milkshakes to go with them. They serve baked potatoes with various toppings and every potato beautiful and almost too large for a plate. The fish basket has generous portions of hand breaded fish but the absolute best deal in Morganton is Abele's ITALIAN FEAST... Chicken Parmesan smothered with a generous serving of amazing spaghetti topped with Parmesan cheese. Friendly service and delicious food. If live in Morganton or here for a visit, Abele's Family Restaurant is a must.

The half slab of ribs are just fall off the bone tender and delicious. Huge amount of food at a really good price. Abele's doesn't have these all the time, so get them while you can if you enjoy ribs.

Wings Hot Wings (Caution Very Spicy) (10)were not spicey and were very dry. Ribeye Steak Sandwich was thin, small, unseasoned and overcooked like shoe leather. King Fish Sandwich was ediblle, but again dry and overcooked.
