I absolutely love Abu Omar and the guys who work there. We got the Double Shawarma Arabi, 1/2 lamb and 1/2 beef. The portion is huge, enough for 2-3 people, and the food is so fresh and so good. The lamb is not gamey at all and is spiced perfectly and the beef is so tender.

Had the beef over rice plate. Even though the plate did not look like their photo, and the portions seemed smaller, it was really good. Meat was surprisingly tender and flavorful. Rice was good too. I added falafel to my plate and it was better than many other places, not dry at all. Salad/veggies need something else, maybe an oil/garlic dressing, there was not much flavor. They did not add plasticware or napkins

I really wanted to like this place. 1 - The hummus appetizer came with only 1 pita which is definitely not sufficient. There was also no option to add extra pita, which shouldn't even be necessary given the cost. 2 - I think that both entrees had way too much garlic sauce. The chicken was cooked but I couldn't taste anything but garlic. On the upside, my door dash driver was very nice.

So dang good, it was absolutely delicious, the service was fast, it was fresh, it's so much food you can even share it if you'd like. I got the Chicken Shawarma Arabi and it was amazing, will 100% be ordering again! :)
