• 9/17/23Extremely tasty Authentic Afgan style kebab (read like a yiros but with completely different taste and much higher quality meat). you can chose 1 or 2 squewer wrap. The prices are excellent. I honestly was totally full and satisfied for the whole evening after eating the double. So happy to find this restaurant. Will be ordering again very soon!

• 3/16/26This tastes so good I highly recommend this place. The rice It has so much flavour the meat skewers have so much flavour and massive bread. 1 serve was more than enough to feed 2 adults. I will definitely be going there again.

• 8/15/25The food was absolutely outstanding! Bursting with flavour and served in generous portions. The only downside was the packaging, as it arrived in plastic bags, leaving everything a bit sweaty by the time it reached us. That said, the taste more than made up for it, and I would definitely order again.

• 1/20/26I wrote a 5 star review for this restaurant 7 years ago stating it was one of the best restaurants in Adelaide. Me and the family have loyally been coming back to Afghan Charcoal.
Over the past years however, the value and quality of the food has slowly been declining. Today was my last straw, we received a 3 skewer kebab pack that looked like some pieces were taken out of it. The rice tasted quite bland and the meat nowhere near as fresh as it used to be. It's sad to see how far this restaurant has fallen as we used to religiously go there physically and order from them. I will sadly not be ordering again.
