The best Fufu, Egusi, Okra, Goat I've ever had. The egusi and fufu I can live off of just that alone but all together is just wonderful. Freshly made and there's a nice portion but I could have used more fufu. I most definitely will recommend African Sisters and I will be eating there again

LOVE the owner, Nsona, she was so kind and prompt when I checked-in to pick up my plate. *Goat stew was flavorful and fall off the bone tender. *Yellow rice balanced the plate well. *Egusi was packed with flavor and spice - definitely my favorite part, accompanied by Fufu! Nsona and her food embody a big warm hug. I can’t wait to come back!

I'm not very familiar with African dishes so I decided to start with the Combo Plate: Fufu, Goat Stew, Egusi Soup, Curry Jerk Chicken, and Jellof Rice . It was an excellent choice! The chicken is tender and flavorful, the goat stew is the same. The Egusi soup has a little curd like texture which was slightly off putting to me but I'm going to try more of it tomorrow because the taste was pretty good even though I can't tell what's in it! The jollof rice is delicious and the fufu is new to me so I used it to sop up juices from the chicken and the goat. Beignets are fried dough, no powdered sugar and no sauce so they were not sweet to me, but maybe they aren't supposed to be? The Ginger Lemonade Large was delicious, you definitely taste the ginger and it accentuates the spices in the food. Very large portion sizes!

I was dying to find a African Restaurant here I Greensboro. Now I have found one! A family owned restaurant. My food up was nice and hot. Especially the fresh fufu! The peanut butter chicken is to dye for and the Egusi Soup was delicious! Bursting with amazing flavors and the customer service is outstanding. I will back!
