they forgot the beef in the beef fried rice. the sesame chicken and the general Tao chicken taste the exact same except for a few sesame seeds. the wonton soup has lots of seaweed, my kids would not eat it. the beef short ribs were tough and had no taste. kids liked the gyoza, miso soup was good, would not order again

I dont know why Ikeep giving them another chance, nostalgia maybe? Ive been going to aji sai for over a decade but ever since covid and their near closing a couple years ago the quality never came back. Much better off going to toro and spending the extra cost on much higher quality rice and fish. The A-19 Calamari tasted like nothing without the sauce and the seaweed was so tough and flavourless. The E-16 Shrimp Tempura Roll tasted so old and bland, all I could taste was the eel sauce and white rice. I took the tempura shrimp out of the roll and tasted nothing, not even remote flavour just the breading. The G-17 Kani / Crab Stick was so dry and chewy and somehow again tasted like nothing. Nothing here is fresh or flavourful anymore and it's so disappointing. I'm sad to say I need to say good-bye to aji sai for good this time. No more chances, just feeding my garbage bin at this point.
