I LOVE Akafuji Shishito Peppers. I like to order them without any Bonita flakes. I also love the Curry Donburi substituted with a shredded cabbage. I can't eat a lot of rice, but I love having the curry with shredded cabbage added with the red pickle radish. the combination of salty and pickled with the crunch is top notch. it's my favorite go-to food For something light and savory without packing on too many empty calories.
I really hope one day akafuji will take into consideration adding a side of Curry or cabbage salad as a permanent side option, but I'll stick with what works for now! Yummage!!!!

Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice (2 Pieces) really flavorful. lots of tuna and umami! Shishito Peppers are really fresh and add a great mild heat. Sea Bream has a nice flesh firmness and taste. Yellowtail was buttery and mild. great with a kawaba snow weizen or kawaba pearl pilsner beer!

Can't go wrong with a Curry Donburi and chicken Chicken Karaage to satisfy my protein and sodium needs. I also greatly appreciate that I can substitute the rice for shredded cabbage for dietary needs. As always, AKAFUJI is the awesome sauce I need!
