Made like they do in SD. Good guac, beans, meat, sour cream, and cheese ratio. Sucks they don't put on pico but you'll live. Other places will put way too much sour cream or little thin slices of avocado and I'm glad this place isn't doing that too. Fries stay crispy too and dont get too soggy. Good meal.

This is definitely one of the better Mexican food places here in Oakland. The tacos are great and the menudo is really one of the best I've had in quite some time, it is really good enough to eat without lemon or cilantro so if you're one of those people who doesn't like lemon or cilantro taste like soap to you this is definitely a good spot to eat menudo with no add ins. Everything tastes fresh with very good flavor and good sized plates. I have eaten here multiple times and will continue to go back!

I got the Surf & Turf Burrito (Mar y Tierra) & it was outrageously salty, didn't come with any rice or beans inside (literally just meat, pepper and onions in a tortilla) or chips on the side, and was pretty expensive all things considering. Counter service was very friendly and they're open late, but there are better options around.

Carne Asada Burrito was just ok. The textures were how I rememebered them but it was way too salty. Rolled Tacos (5 Pcs) were very bland and barely had any beef at all inside, just a lot of tortilla rolled up onto itself. The Beef Taco (Hard Shell) was ok. This is not the standard that I recall from Alberto's in San Diego.

Burrito very loosely wrapped with both tortilla and wrapping, was falling apart when I opened the bag. Overall extremely dry, with dry French fries instead of potatoes. Hard to find the egg.
