• 10/12/24I got the Chick-in-Waffle Sandwich . The chicken was cooked very well, and the waffles were light and fluffy. Also got a side of Grits The grits were prepared nicely and had a pleasant flavor. I wish I had ordered an additional waffle to enjoy with the coconut syrup, which was quite tasty.

• 4/19/26Food was high quality and made with love. The Surf n' Bird Burrito had a perfect bite every time. I DoorDash all the time and it was my first. Can't wait to have it again. Burrito was filling.

• 6/20/25The fries were really good, seasoned very well. The chicken sandwich was smaller than I expected and was bland and dry. I expected more flavor, but either there was not enough sauce in the sandwich, or it just isn't very flavorful.

• 5/14/26Got the value meal and a side of eggs for my first time going. Placed and order and it was ready when I got there. I was greeted w a smile, the food was fresh w nice portions.
I would definitely eat here again. Coconut syrup was amazing too.
Nice to have another place to eat in San Diego.

• 1/8/26the chicken was tender and juicy but lackrd flavor and instead of syrup for the waffle i got a tiny little thing of white sweet sauce thatbarely wet my waffle. the chicken sauce wasn't flavorful either.
