• 10/31/24Much like all the other reviews, I have not had Nigerian food before. It was absolutely delicious. The A Set of Plantains and Puff Puff are perfectly sweet and cooked very well. The Bowl of Jollof Rice rice is a huge serving and spiced to perfection. Definitely get mild if you can't do spice. The Yam FUFU of choice with EGUSI SOUP no PROTEIN was definitely my favorite. The soft, moldable yam with the savory flavor of the egusi, chefs kiss. If you have ever been curious but can't find a place in OC, give this a try!! You wont regret it. Will absolutely be looking forward to trying the other menu items!!

• 12/2/24The fufu was delicious and came hot, egusi soup was very bony and came with 3 very small pieces of oxtail, lots of just fat and not much meat. Almost hard to eat. Wanted to enjoy, but at the price point- almost 40 dollars on doordash, expected better.

• 7/6/26We drove a few hours to celebrate my son’s birthday with egusi soup, a rare treat in our area, but the meal was unfortunately a major disappointment for the price. We ordered the egusi with yam fufu and goat, a plate with lamb, and a plain egusi, yet every dish tasted exactly the same with no distinct spice variance or the authentic flavor we are used to traveling and experiencing. Instead, the soup had a very heavy, earthy taste and a gritty texture that was so overpowering my children and I were unable to finish it and ultimately had to throw it away. With only about three pieces of meat per dish, the value definitely wasn't there, and it was a highly disappointing experience for a special occasion that we would not repeat.

• 11/21/23The A Small Bowl of Tomato Stew with 1 Protein of Choice was fire 🔥. I ordered it with goat! Chefs kiss! The only disappointment was the protein was small. I'll say that it's expensive but I will make this my once a month go to. You're going to wait for delivery but that's everything is freshly made and you will notice the quality.

A Set of Plantains oh these were fresh and delicious as well! 9/10
JOLLOF RICE with PLANTAIN authentic, mouth watering and well paired with the bits of sweet plantain to balance the taste. Heavy and filling. Planning to fry and egg on top of the left overs tomorrow. 8.5/10
FUFU of choice with EGUSI SOUP and PROTEIN of Choice okay now, could tell this was expertly prepared and fresh, but also an acquired taste. Ate one serving but probably would not reorder this particular item. The chicken was delicious and thoroughly cooked . Very strong flavors so for anyone who like Nigerian food this would probably be a huge hit for you. 7.5/10
FUFU of choice with EDIKAIKONG SOUP and PROTEIN of Choice strong flavors just like the other one. More so appears to be the soup, which tasted super potent. Again, an acquired taste. Obviously fresh and expertly prepared. 7.5/10
Overall thoughts:
Delivery took a while but didn't mind as the food was freshly and well prepared. Delivery was excellent, courteous. Sealed package 10/10z
