"Alza": to raise or uplift is a fitting name for a restaurant that lifts spirits through its delicious dishes and warm and inviting hospitality. Family-owned and operated Alza Italian Kitchen is a mod…
The Capellini Pesto Regular was a decent portion of food and the noodles were cooked well. However the Small BBQ Pizza was amazing with its crispy outside and soft thick dough; amazing cheese pull 10/10 recommend

My Giovanni Regular pasta I get with GF pasta was delicious. It always is, but the Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad was less than perfect. It's really a hit or a miss. I'm not sure if it's because they get busy or if there's a chef or two that rushes or doesn't know how to cook, idk. Not sure why some days it tastes amazing and others it doesn't. Tonight, the strawberries were sour. They were so bad I spit them out. They weren't sweet at all and had several brown spots. The container was overflowing with lettuce and it didn't even look that fresh. I found wilted pieces in there. The chicken was actually edible but is was almost as if they put the chicken on an unclean grill. Had a lot of soot on the chicken. And lastly it was like they threw in a handful of pecans and some goat cheese and slapped on some avocado and said "Well gee this look decent". Kind of disappointed me. I hope they can check their salads for consistency in the future. It's a shame cause I feel like I wasted some money. At least if I'm hungry I got some more pasta to eat. Definitely go for the pasta. Find a different place if you're craving a salad.

I’ve been coming here for a while now, and one thing I can always count on is the food—consistently delicious, every single visit. The flavors are rich and authentic, with just the right balance between classic Italian comfort and a touch of modern flair.
The pasta is always cooked perfectly al dente, with sauces that taste fresh and homemade rather than heavy or overdone. Their pizza has a crisp, wood-fired crust with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings always feel high-quality, never skimped on. Even the small details, like fresh herbs, olive oil drizzle, and perfectly seasoned proteins, show real care from the kitchen.
Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and everything comes out hot and beautifully plated. It’s clear the chef has pride in what they’re serving—this isn’t the kind of place where one night is amazing and the next feels rushed. The consistency is what keeps me coming back, because you know every meal will hit the mark.
Pair that with friendly service and a warm, inviting atmosphere, and it’s exactly what you want from a great Italian spot.

I'm giving only four stars because of the buratta salad. Don't get me wrong-it was absolutely delicious. It was just super skimpy, with barely any arugula or prosciutto. The photo shows a nice big salad with 4 piles of prosciutto , but mine only had 3. But honestly, everythingwe ate was delicious and well prepared, but if you're goingto pay that much for a salad it shouldn't be so lacking and should look like the pic.
