If you enjoy SOS (my dad was in the Navy and it was a staple when I grew up) then this is truly a perfect version. They clearly rinse/soak the beef so it isn't overly salty. Excellent. And the scrapple took me back to my childhood also; crispy exterior, creamy inside. Great hash browns also. Highly recommend if you want a great breakfast.

We wanted to like this place, especially under new ownership, but our first experience will definitely be our last. The $19 "American Breakfast" was missing half the items, but the bigger problem is what they did send: overcooked pancakes, a giant heap of unseasoned home fries, and scrambled eggs with no discernible flavor. At that price point for what is essentially pancakes/eggs/potatoes, you expect something decent or flavorful, but it was stunningly bland. They also didn't read the notes for one item and sent another giant heap of unseasoned homefries, and somehow there was chocolate on the outside of the container for the chocolate pancakes. I'd love to know how that happened. Ultimately, it's overpriced and underdelivers. There are so many other great options in this area, and you're better off going to one of them.

The Waffles looked and tasted great, this is one of the few places that still offer waffles and ice cream together and they top it with a good size portion of ice cream. The Raisin French Toast was delicious too only complaint is that I thought it would be as big as the other French toast.

The hot chocolate is always great even on hot summer days and the cream chipped beef is by far the best in the area without question.

We ordered 3 separate breakfast quesadilla meals for $20 a piece and these things were incredibly small for the the price we paid. Also ordered 2 cups of coffee and there was no cream or sugar included. I've ordered from here many times, but this is not the usual proportions or service I'd expect from this diner. Hopefully it was just a one-off
