Always love American Soul Kitchen. Ordered two Fried Chicken Dinners, one with Mac & Cheese and Collards and one with Mac & Cheese & Cabbage. They called to say they didn't have cabbage so we ordered two collards, which was fine. We usually get a wing, thigh and drum or breast. This time we got two wings and a thigh in one and three wings in the other. Overall great meals as usual but would love consistency on chicken pieces or option to order white meat/dark meat.

I was not disappointed at all. Whiting was not over breaded. Mac n cheese, collards and fish were all well seasoned. I will be ordering from this place again. Only thing I wish were different is how the food was packaged....collards spilled in the bag a bit but I was very pleased with the food nonetheless.

2 stars because some of the food is actually really good... but for the price of food you would think the portion size would be alot better than what they serve, i got the Fried Shrimp Basket And in my opinion its not worth 20+ dollars when u only give 6 pieces of regular size shrimp thats more like an appetizer.

BBQ sliders , I thought more llike vinegar tasting pulled pork. Too swwet for me but good. Philly steak rolls,we're very good. Shrimp good. Wish packaging was more secured. All in all about my 3rd or 4th order, so happy about this soul food establishment. Portions were good. All appetizers.

OBSESSED with this place. Authentic soul food. Sooooo good. Definitely try fried green tomatoes. Wish they offered grits and collard greens as an add on side cause they're amazing and I always want a little of everything.
