Lack of consistency was always the problem for Anjappar. I was very surprised that they got much better off late. Ordered 2-3 times in the last couple of months and they seemed to have improved a lot on quality. Sambar tastes so authentic that it feels like a wedding feast in southern Tamil Nadu. Also love their mutton curry and rose milk. Hope they don't degrade.

Idlis were hard, vada was not fresh and neither of them tasted good. Because you put vada in the plastic box along with idlis it had become soggy by the time I got it.

The quantity was extremelyy low for 20+ dollars. Highly disappointed. Not even sufficient for a single person

Normally, their food is excellent but man...their naan tastes...kinda like toothpaste (sadly, had to toss it cuz it was THAT weird) and their idea of mild (for the prawn masala) is a lot different than my idea of mild. My mouth is burning with every bite. (I'm sure it would be great if I could actually taste it!) The butter chicken and rice are amazing tho!!
