recently got invisalign, if you know you know. i've been on a soft food diet all week. with the fall weather finally settling in, i had a craving for potpie. thankfully, i came across apple annie's kitchen. the pot pie came with two generous sides . i chose mashed  potatoes with gravy, and cabbage soup. the mashed potatoes were great, and the gravy was perfectly prepared with the right amount of flavor. although i personally like my crust slightly undercooked, the pot pie was delicious. it was a great meal, and the most ive been able to eat since starting invisalign. i was satisfied with my meal, and i cant wait  to try the cabbage soup for dinner! great flavor, great price, excited to try the rest of the menu. thank you!

The Banana Nut Pancakes I ordered were hot and fresh when they were delivered. The four pancakes were a huge portion. They had great flavor, with the exception of the taste of the walnuts. 

Sadly, the walnuts were "STALE"....and they were "not baked into the pancakes", rather the stale walnuts  were sprinkled on top of & in between each of the four pancakes. 

***If the walnuts had been fresh I would have given this order a 5 for sure. 

***Tasted like the walnuts had been sitting unused in the restaurant for far too long. 

The Biscuits & Sausage Gravy were tasty. It's the extra-thick sausage gravy that makes it. 

The biscuits were light & fluffy, and the sausage gravy with its well-seasoned flavor, well, it took the biscuits to new flavorful heights. 

The packaging was very secure and done well. Included in the bag was a separate bag with utensils and napkins, the two syrups I asked for, and two cups of butter, which was FANTASTIC & much appreciated. 

Hoping the restaurant cooking staff will get rid of the stale walnuts and purchase a clean, fresh, delicious bag of walnuts, which makes all the difference in enjoyment.

The food here at Apple Annie's Kitchen is terrific quality, fantastic portion sizes and because of there numerous options, they are reminiscent of Mel's Diner from TV back in the day where they served up some of anything you could name and you loved it!

We had the blueberry pancakes (huge & filled with fresh blueberries - pancake batter could have used more flavor), the corned beef hash - tasty just a bit on the salty side, regular hash browns very fresh & good, order of bacon - soooo delicious and cooked the way I love it, not to well done.

And, we got an order of biscuits & gravy (gravy was delicious, biscuits nit as tender...a bit tough but tasty). The packaging for DoorDash delivery was phenomenal!! Overall a very filling d enjoyable breakfast. Fantastic quality and attention to detail with all necessities included in the order (butter, syrup, utensils).

We will order again some of what we initially ordered as well as trying some different items on the menu. Give them a try for yourself and I'm sure you'll enjoy your food!!

Ordered the #1 Breakfast with Ranch Cut Bacon and a side of ranch cut Bacon ( 4 pieces). It came with hash browns and I added onions & green peppers. 

I also opted to add cheddar cheese to the lightly scrambled eggs in my order, and got pancakes (which are extra large), rather than toast. 

I did add salt and pepper to my taste. Everything was made fresh and tasted very good. 

The portion size was generous and filling. Condiments were in the bag (butter & syrup), along with napkins and cutlery. Packed well and securely.

Have ordered several times before and yes, I will order again. 

Thank you sincerely to the cooks/chef who prepared my #1 Breakfast with Ranch Cut Bacon order on yesterday, Wednesday. It was Delicious! Started the day out right.

Hands down the #7 Breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy with scrambled eggs is the best in the area!! Ordered at 2pm on a Saturday and biscuits were fluffy and soft while  the gravy was savory with a slight saltiness. And when I say best in the area, I have lived here for 40-some years and have tried biscuits and gravy darn near everywhere!! Apple Annies tops them all!! The Buttermilk Pancakes with chocolate chips and their delightful homemade butter were 10/10. And for the price, who around even comes close?  This place is a must try!! And you'll be back ;-)
