It was my first time trying 6. Pounded Yam & Egusi Soup. It was so delicious! The pounded yam was almost like mashed potatoes-texture wise. The Egusi soup was very flavorful with a fish flavor. I will definitely be coming back! So yummy!

Today the 6. Pounded Yam & Egusi Soup was the best its been in a long time! I always get mad that I dont take a photo when Im pleased with the meal... but it was too good to stop! Lol the chicken was fried perfectly and I even requested more of the liquid base of the soup so it wouldnt get dry.. and they added it! Perfection. I have a love/hate relationship with this place so Im so happy I tried them again.

Portions used to be larger. Now the bowl is smaller and the meat takes up most of the bowl while theres maybe two scoops of egusi added. Youd probably have to order it separately to get your moneys worth. Soup and fufu are hot but the meat is clearly not. Maybe they add it to the soup and think itll warm up it but thats not right. The food should be warmed if not freshly cooked. Disappointed in this place lately as this is my second order this week and I hoped for the best.

I thought this was very strange, but this is my first time trying this entree. I had the 5. Fufu & Groundnut Soup. The chicken tasted good although the portion was small - 2 chicken drumsticks for a $20 meal. The fufu had an odd texture and I was unable to eat it. The soup has too much oil and I did not enjoy it.
