I don't there are so negative reviews, but I love Asher Amens African cafe. I been ordering from them for at least 3 years now. Everything always is fresh, the meat is well seasoned, and the portion is perfect. I love the Egusi Soup and the vegetable soup. I don't why people would want to leave such negatives reviews for this hidden gem. Wish they were open today!

The Ayamase was disappointing. The chicken was tough and dry, I didn't get the beef I ordered, there were no vegetables or peppers and it coated my mouth with something as I ate it. For $22 I expected more. I also didn't get the soda I ordered. I won't be back.

Didn't know it was gonna be this spicy. it would be nice if you could specify that on the menu for people like me that is trying African food for the first time But it is very good other wise especially the fufu.

Goat meat was very TOUGH and only 2 small pieces of meat. NOT enough fufu.
