I was so excited to find a restaurant serving Vietnamese food locally
Unfortunately, the Vietnamese egg rolls were truly the worst I have ever had. Heavy breading that was very greasy flavor was heavy in black pepper which I have never experienced with Vietnamese food. Even the fish sauce was poorly flavored.
Darn, back to having to go into Minneapolis for good Vietnamese

Food came on time and the quantities were generous; however, the quality was poor.
My husband could eat only 2 of the 6 pot stickers because they were burnt. I ate only 1 of the 2 egg rolls because of the unpleasant taste (cinnamon?)
The beef in the lo mein was well past well done and leathery. I ordered a side of veggies to be added and they were barely visible. The noodles had a pleasant chew but the sauce was bland.
I ate maybe 10 to 15% of the container and have no desire to eat anymore.
We will not be ordering from Asian Bistro again. Daruma is more expensive but the food is very good. They'll be getting our orders in the future even if it means going without lo mein.

I was excited to be finally ordering again at Asian Bistro. I ordered the Beef Pho, ive had it prior from a few other places, and was excited to know Asian Bistro was back open and had PHO. It was so dissaponting. The soup stock had no color or flavor. I received (3)small pieces of sliced beef, and what looked like 3 half pieces of meat balls. The stock was cold the meat was precooked and cold, serving size on everything for $18 was a total disappointment. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and recieved the deep fried eggrolls. I noticed I order them by mistake, so my bad. However, I tried them and couldn't even eat one of them, no flavor again and not real appealing. I usually order the cream cheese puffs, but when I noticed the price of $12.95 for 10 pieces, I passed since I use to get 8 pieces for $5.00 in the past. They also removed the fried shrimp appetizer which I would alwaa get and was sad to see it wasnt on the menu. I think that the golden gem we once had in Mound is gone forever, and I will not be ordering again .

I'm not sure what they sent, this is definitely not Kung Pao Chicken, no spice at all, just chicken a couple peanuts. The sesame Noodles are mushy spaghetti noodles. I'm so disappointed. I used to love their food.
