I absolutely loved my meal. The Yams are perfect not too sweet just right. The collards are seasoned to perfection and Turkey wing w/ gravy and rice pretty good not really seasoned but it's still yummy👍

Pick 2 w/ 2 Sides Turkey wings with rice and meatloaf were DELICIOUS. Yams were divine! Mac & Cheese and collars were not my favorite. I'm not big on vinegar but that and a bit of salt may have helped the collars. Good amount of food for the cost.
HATED the Salmon Bites w/ Sweet Chili Sauce...dry and lacked flavor but the sauce was good.

BAG LEAKED ALL OVER MY KITCHEN AS WELL AS MYSELF! PORK CHOP WAS CRAMMED INTO A CAKE CLAM SHELL. SIDES PORTIONS WERE MEAGER AT BEST. BREADING ON CHICKEN & PORK CHOP WAS A BIT DIFFERENT, BUT TASTY. ONLY THING MISSING WAS A ROLL OR CORNBREAD!

My new favorite restaurant. Been looking for a great tasting & convenient soulfood place and this is the one. I have had their oxtails , the hamburger and gravy , and fried pork chops. With sides of mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese and cabbage. All meals were delicious. They also give a good portion of food for the price. Definitely ordering again.

First time trying Ava's. I seek out family or locally owned places. We ordered the fried chicken (clearly hand breaded with love... pieces of chicken were also legit, not tiny and over breaded) ,meatloaf (holy Schnike, I hope whoever packed it didn't throw their back out), best green beans I've ever tasted which was super weird and cool at the same time. I look forward to eating Ava's food really soon. P.S. don't sleep on the pound cake.
