The Russo didn’t have a custard filling as described, the center was more marshmallow-like, which wasn’t what I was expecting. The tiramisu was okay but not particularly memorable.
That said, the pumpkin and blueberry scones were good. Bread and cookies I've had from here have been really good.
Overall, some items worked better than others, and clearer descriptions of fillings would help set expectations.
Compared to other bakeries, the pastry selection is weak at Aviero.

Ordered 10 kaisers - and received 9, ordered 5 cakes - and received 4, and one of them is 1/3 size compared to the last time I ordered it, and the Bola Berlim is smaller in size, and my Boston cream is missing, they credit me for my napoleon ordered and replaced me with a weird tasting cake

I've given this place a chance twice now and honestly I keep feeling there'sno way they could possible mess up but somehow everything on their menu is the worst thing I've tasted in my life. Cheesecakes taste like paydough, bread is worse than I could make at home and pasteries are just so yuck. Looks better than it is. Coffee woud be better instant at home as well. Idk how they're stillin buiness
