Wife was curious about Birria Ramen and was so glad she ordered it. Generous on the protein, broth and noodles were exactly what she imagined. The Cardinal Burrito is massive, great value, but highly recommend adding a chicken or steak.

I have a deep and abiding love for bandido, and my south Cali husband says it's the best he's had here. But lately it's been super inconsistent! I got my usual steak Cali burrito with guac, and it was awful. No guac, no sour cream just 90% over cooked fries and a little tough steak topped with rock hard cheddar. And the buffalo chicken burrito was inedible, like 80% buffalo sauce on rice and then some chicken nuggets that were so tough we couldn't chew them. I don't know what happened but it was a $40 order that went straight in the trash. Gonna give it a bit until I try and order again which breaks my heart bc until recently there been my comfort burrito spot :(

Dude... I was born and raised in San Diego. Have lived in the Midwest for 5 years. Moved to Louisville last July. I ordered a California Burrito and added guacamole and pico de gallo (every Cali burrito should have both). That was the best burrito I've had in YEARS, including visits home to SD. Well done. Massive portion (would add a photo, but it seems to have disappeared), tasted fresh, and will be ordering again and again. So true to a SoCal taco shop, it made my heart sing. Tamatillo hot sauce was killer as well. Bravo, guys. Found my new favorite Mexican spot.

Everything tasted great!... Bean & Cheese Burrito was fresh and was excellent with added fries and hot sauce. The 3 TJ Chorizo Tacos were great as well. The portion size was more than adequate, and we had leftovers for dinner. The 8oz Gauca Salsa was surprisingly good with more heat than expected! Great all-around experience. I'll definitely order from this location again in the future!
