Made just like my granddaddy. The spirit of their ancestors are in that kitchen lawdddd. Way better than any soul food restaurant in this area. Chicken was a little small but that ain't got nothing to do with the flavor. Excellent 10/10

The 3 Wings were crispy and well seasoned. Macaroni was "melt in your mouth"!! Very tasty. Will order again and again!!!!

It was my first time! So I decided to get the basic. I got the 3 Wing Chicken Plate. Let me hit on the cornbread baby slap you Momma cause listen!!! Sweet buttery light fluffy!!! The chicken was good season you know they cooked it fresh can't go wrong with that. The rice nice. The sweet peas was okay I needed more seasoning. I just wish they had those field peas and snaps! Overall yes you definitely can't go wrong getting some good quality great tasting food here!!! Definitely will be back!!!

All the food was delicious! The hoppin John was moist not dry like most hoppin John & very flavorful. The Lima beans were tender & tasty. The cubed steak was so tender u could cut it with a fork. Last but not least & the best were the candied yams. The sweet succulent flavor of the yams literally melt in ur mouth. They were so good!!! I am certainly going to order from them again. Can't wait to see what their other dishes taste like.
