All the food was delicious! The hoppin John was moist not dry like most hoppin John & very flavorful. The Lima beans were tender & tasty. The cubed steak was so tender u could cut it with a fork. Last but not least & the best were the candied yams. The sweet succulent flavor of the yams literally melt in ur mouth. They were so good!!! I am certainly going to order from them again. Can't wait to see what their other dishes taste like.

The portions were generous especially the ribs. They were tender unfortunately it has a heavy smoke flavor, I'm not a fan. I enjoyed the rice, cabbage, yams not the potato salad. I look forward to eating there again.

Fried Chicken (Breast and Wing)was small and almost burnt. Also only received 1 side instead of 2 that were ordered. The other plate Smothered Hamburger Steak was fine like it usually is

Food is always hot even with a 45 minute drive. Portions are large and filling. Seasoned well not too salty not too sweet and very good menu items!!!!
