Had a large pepperoni,onion extra cheese delivered and it was AMAZING! If you like think crust fire baked pizza, you cannot go wrong here. Wish it was cut in triangles, but that is the only bad thing I would have to say. Its just so good! Definitely a winner!

The worst pizza I've had since moving to San Diego. It was cold. Burnt. The peppers looked like burnt crust. It was a complete waste of money.

Tasty but the pizza was really weird. I ordered it just to see because TripAdvisor said it was top 10 in the city and they're right down the street from my apartment.
meh.... I'm saying though... they a-right but from my taste Mazara Trattoria blows them out the water.

Bomb pizza. Excellent service. We had our rehearsal dinner at Basic and were so impressed we went back twice within a week.

Ordered a large Margherita pizza. It came on time, but was covered in thick sauce and the middle 2/3 of the pizza was completely soggy. It was really gross, the worst pizza I have ever had, from the preparation suprisingly, not the ingredients. I threw the massive waste away after one slice.
The bottom was cooked, even burnt looking from the wood fire, but there was obviously way too much soupy sauce dumped all over the pizza, like the amount you'd find on thick crust Chicago style This crust was paper thin, so it must have made it super soggy quickly in the box. It was just gross. Imagine soaking pizza crust in a bowl of water. That was the consistency of everything from about 2 inches in from the edge. Just falling apart and squishing in my hand. Yuck thinking about it again.
