Discovered this KFC chain when watching Crash Landing On You. Their japchae is excellent: Always hot, not dry, well packaged. Honey garlic wings are also excellent, and a welcome change from the other KFC places that don't have more than a couple sauces.

the Kimchicken Rice Bowl hitshe spot and is very fulfilling that cwould be eaten entirely byone person as a meal. I like theTakoyaki but it def was very doughy.Spicy Original Wings werent that spicy to me and more somild so if you want that Korean spice like buldak chicken then get their other spicy options. For my white friends, they really like the Galbi Wings.

The seasoning is fine, and sometimes good. It's just the breading and sometimes chicken itself that are a bit... curious. The breading is not crunchy at all and the chicken is not very juicy on the inside. There's lots of white meat in each wing but sometimes of questionable quality (rubber meat, dryness).
It's like pulling somewhat rubbery meat with a thin and weak soggyish breading in each bite.
They sometimes mix in boneless in bone-in orders (never had the opposite happen) which is disappointing.

This place was good but has gone downhill. The rose ddukbokki was like a 1/2 portions and not worth it. The spicy chicken was not spicy and tasted like normal fried chicken.

Ive had chicken before - many a chicken in my lifetime. On average, I think most people know what chicken tastes like. Some are good, some are bland, some are dry, some are seasoned. Ive had some pretty great chicken in my days - some where you take a bite and youre like "wow thats some great chicken!"
But never in my life have i had chicken so succulent and juicy and seasoned to perfection yet still retaining its crispyness on the outside.
BBQ chicken has far surpassed my expectations and i find myself craving THEIR chicken and THEIR chicken only. If i want chicken, i want BBQ chicken. If i want meat, i want BBQ chicken. They have ultimately perfected the art of chicken.
As I write this, i have placed yet another order of honey garlic wings from BBQ chicken because post-surgery, this is all i could think about.
Do you want good chicken? Go to KFC or popeyes. But if you want the best chicken of your life, come to BBQ chicken. Im drooling as I write this and starting to realize i may have no life concocting this long essay of a review, this BBQ chicken is the only restaurant worth reviewing to me.
S/O to this chain and its owners and to Korea for revitalizing Chicken and changing the industry.
10/5 stars.
