Because Beau Jo's is close to my home I initially went there for convenience. After about 10 years I return because of the service and the consistency of product. I'm not a huge pizza fan so my leaving a review also says that I do enjoy the people and the food. They are also quite quick both in store, for pickup, and with delivery.

I never leave negative reviews.
When I walked into the store through the takeout entrance, I had to walk around to even find an employee, who was chatting with a friend visiting the store. When I said how is your day going, I was met with a blank stare. The pasta I ordered for the kids I babysit was not even good enough for them. I tried it, and it tasted like water. Both the pesto and garlic cream had no flavor. Noodles were still wet. And that's all they tasted like with sauce and everything- wet.
The portions are good. I like that and the price. Too bad this isn't like the Idaho springs Beau Jo's, that was a legendary spot when I was growing up.

So-callled breadsticks were more like crackers, burned and crumbly ... complete waste of $9.00 because we threw them all away. Sausage Combo Pizza (10" 2 Pound Mountain Pie (Serves 2-3)) was very weak on toppings, not even sure if there were any green peppers, onions, or sausage

the all meat calzones were 90% ground beef and each one only had about 5 pepperonis in them, all located in one half of the calzone. there was also a disappointing lack of cheese!

I ordered the Alfredo, 2 meatball subs, garlic cheesy breadsticks and salads. They all were terrible! We ordered before their doors open, so you would think that they would have good fresh ingredients. But no! There was almost no sauce on the Alfredo. The sub buns were stale. The salads were turning brown. And the cheesy bread was cooked to near burnt status. For the price I paid, there is no excuse. What a disappointment.
