Love me some Becks. The alligator Gator Gumbo had the right amount spice and the rice is nice and fluffy. The Blackened Chicken Alfredo has a lot of chicken and the noodles are perfect done. I should have got 2 orders of the Beignets they were fluffy and light and just the right amount of powder sugar.

Very happy to find King Cake in Philly. But I found the slices a little dry and non-proportionate for the "value" of near $6 a slice online. Again it was great for the rarity and celebration but difficult to fully appreciate.

Normally I LOVE A Beck's. We usually get the Quart Chicken & Shrimp Gumbo which we love! Today I decided to try the Fried Catfish Platter. Really disappointed. Besides getting the thinnest filet I've even seen coated in batter (looks like they took 1 filet and cut it into 2 pieces) the inside of one of the pieces was RAW. You could even see the wet, uncooked batter under the batter that cooked on the outside. For the price I would have expected better. And the cornbread didn't taste homemade but like the kind you buy in a plastic wrapper from the corner stores with that fake taste to it. Only reason they got 3 stars is because I know the gumbo will be good as always and the Beck's Bread Pudding w/ Vanilla Whiskey Sauce was a nice treat. I'll stick to the gumbo from now on.

Blackened Chicken Alfredo was more like noodles and sauce, had 1 tiny piece of chicken. Good but no chicken. Fried Mac n' Cheese was blah like idk what cheese was used but it didn't have a good taste. Tasted like cheese sauce.
