• 1/1/26I always ask for Mumbo sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper on my fries. I am from DC. I can't help it lol & they never forget any of my special requests - I so appreciate that. they also put all the condiments on top and bottom of fries so it's so good and they don't skip.  I asked for my condiments on my fries and the instructions and they pay attention but you can ask for on the side and I'm sure they will pay attention because they are consistent with that. I order all the time. This is the small/regular portion of fries and chicken and broccoli . It's more than enough for one person esp with the french fries(small). Food is very fresh! Chicken and broccoli also bomb. Healthy option that still tastes good and leaves you satisfied. A lot of other restaurants do not pay attention to what you type into the special request but I love that they do. I also love that they allow you to make special requests period. I really appreciate that and I appreciate the consistency and being thorough and reading our special requests and actually fulfilling them. It taste just like DC carryout. Just like home. I am trying to eat a little bit better. I usually get general tso chicken or their subs which is also really good. The chicken is juicy. The broccoli is really good and the perfect consistency put it over the white rice and it's a great + high protein. The other photos are after I was midway eating the chicken and broccoli but I wanted to show you the sauce consistency and color because that is important if you are true DC native. Also for the Mumbo sauce which is also good! Best carryout in the area y'all.

• 8/14/24I consider myself to be a dumpling connoisseur, and Benny's fried dumplings are superb! The casing was thin and crispy, and the filling was the perfect amount of meat and vegetables. The General Tso's chicken was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of sauce. I think I may start ordering all my Chinese takeout from Benny's!The fried dumplings were superb. i consider myself to be pretty picky about my dumplings and the casing was thin and crispy and it was filled with perfect amount of meat and veg. BRAVO Benny! the General Tsos chicken was not dry or chewy and had the perfect amount of sauce. I think i may order all my chinese takeout from here!

• 11/4/24The rice is surprisingly very dry. This is my 2nd time having their rice (1st time was a couple of months ago). The shrimp is good and cooked nicely, not sure why the rice profile does not match. This was disappointing. The egg roll had a good taste, not oily.
