The coco bread is the TRUTH. Patties slamming. pudding sweet and thick. but baybae! the mac and cheese is to die for, oxtails and goat tender TENDER, plantain soft and sweet and the rice and peas nice and spicy. This is absolutely the BEST jamaican food i've had since i left Bklyn, NY 15 years ago. Everything fresh, still hot and generous portions. OMG, this is probably gonna be a weekly thing. And hell no, i'm not sharing anything. Order early, just saying.

Found this gem.... I have to say.... this is the best Jamaican food in the city, I ordered the jerk chicken and the brown stew chicken, and both were seasoned to absolute perfection. Not too much, not too little....every bite had flavor that hit exactly right.
The sides weren’t an afterthought either. The broccoli had the perfect texture.... not hard, not mushy, just right. The cabbage was full of flavor, and the rice held its own too. Everything on the plate was intentional.
And the portions.... They are NOT skimping. Im genuinely full, which doesn’t happen often. As someone who is a tough critic when it comes to food, I don’t say this lightly.... Betta Taste Jerk got it.
I’ll absolutely be back. If you haven’t been, go. Just don’t make it too popular.... I still want to get food without a long wait😄

I rarely leave reviews but I have to say that this was THE BEST Jamaican food I've had since moving here from Florida. The Jerk Chicken (Dark Meat) was chargrilled to PERFECTION with crispy skin and a good kick of heat. Most places here I've had always put sauce on it which takes away from that and the skin becomes soggy; sometimes the chicken isn't even spicy. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly excellent. My bf loved it and he's a Mac and cheese maniac. The rice and beans and cabbage were also amazing and neither were dry. I can't tell if the oxtail gravy was on there but I don't even care bc it was still great. The portion was excellent as well and we will DEFINITELY be ordering again. Thank you!!!

Jerk chicken is fresh and GRILLED, you can taste the charcoal and wood in the meat. Not very spicy to ask for extra jerk seasoning. The oxtail plate is the meatiest oxtail plate I have ordered from ANY Jamaican restaurant in this area. Great price as well. Beef patties ARE NOT the ones that come in a box. Don't know if they make them in house or if they order from a daily beef patty factory, but they ARE fresh!! sweet potato pudding IS THICK, but if you heat it up, and add some ice cream, it's appealing to everyone.

I've tried 3 things so far & they were amazing. Oxtails, fried chicken and curry chicken. Very big portions, everything was fresh as well. Just wish I could grab & go. Would definitely order again & again
