Good flavor. Plenty of rice. Reasonably priced for San Francisco. Could use a little bit more meat though. Meat portion was light.

Don't order from here if you actually like Hawaiian food. Nothing about this is Hawaiian food. The mac salad is somehow DRY, not the creamy and salty mac salad dotted w celery or carrots from all the plate lunches I ate as a kid growing up in Hawaii. The meat was underseasoned and over cooked. The spam musubi is the only reason I gave them 2 stars.

They give an illusion that there's more meat than the photo by putting rice under the meat. $24 for the ribeye in Large Hawaiian BBQ Steak Plate but it's more like skirt steak or thin pieces of steak that's been pounded. The Mac salad is watery. The rice wasn't fully cooked or dried out because some pieces were hard. The Island Coconut Shrimp (5 ea) was actually really good with the island fire sauce. Plates are just not worth the price for the portions of meat.

The BBQ is not tender what so ever. Really thick hard to swallow. Recommend their bbq chicken or fired chicken instead. Then the meat portions were really small compared to the photos. There is a mountain or rice under the meat and another scoop of rice for side. They should just put to scoops of macaroni instead. Pretty underwhelming. Was hoping this would be a good spot for the amount of money we paid.

Delivered fast, and portion size was reasonable food was tasty the fire sauce wasnt as spicy as I thought it would be but still was tasty think ill try the bbq island sauce next time. Thank you for your service!
