Portions are good, burgers taste good. I like the Gorge Burger . The fries are nice and crispy, not overcooked. my main gripe is that they consistently forget the fry sauce I pay extra for on my orders. also, at these high prices for a burger it would be nice if they had some proper leaves of lettuce instead of the McDonald's style shredded and tattered and smushed onto the bun lettuce. I would love to order the hard ice cream milkshakes... but they come in an extremely small portion and are outrageously expensive. it's ice cream, people. it shouldn't cost most of 10 bucks for a very small milkshake. for that price it should be at least twice as large. I don't mind paying more as long as I'm getting more. the hard ice cream milkshake is unfortunately just a rip-off. I mean a burger for over 20 bucks is arguably a rip off too, but I digress.

from the time that they brought the baby burger back to their menu I have had four total baby burgers from Big Jim's. out of the four only one was of good quality and taste, the other three were very chewy and extremely salty. trying to bring up problems to the kids working and running around without direction is not sufficient. the Hood river big Jim's is not run the same as the dalles. I've never had bad quality at the original Jim's but this hood River one is hit or miss and more misses than anything. as much as I love the baby burger thought, it was poorly executed. I won't fall for that trick again.
