Food taste great, I would have appreciated more rice. I am most times satisfied but this time around I got less than anticipated. I would order again. It was fresh and tasty. Portions were not the best

I don't know why everyone gave this restaurant. good reviews. As a Jamaican, born and raised- The food was a disgrace. I can point out two major faults and ignore the minor issues.
One of the biggest issues was the Curry Goat Plate. Where was the meat? Swimming in fat. I almost threw up every single time. I thought I was getting mutton and got something soft and gushy instead. Let me be clear and say that I understand that there will be some fat but I'm not talking about one or two pieces here, I'm talking about the fact that I only had two fat-free bites. That's ridiculous. Especially for expensive Caribbean food. I should have just waited on the weekend for kjk to open. My fault for being greedy. Oven Jerk Chicken Plate wasn't anything to write home about. where was the flavor? the spice? the slight nostalgic feeling? probably a whisper of a thought. and don't even get me started on the ice and peas. Lawd- I never tasted food so tasteless before. what a disappointment and $$ wasted

very dry. it's not fresh tasting and it has no flavours of jerk. it tastes like a Grace brand marinade was used instead. very disappointing. I won't order it again. the cabbage has no dressing. just bagged mix of coleslaw. I won't order again. Oven Jerk Chicken Plate is what I ordered

Very good food came hot and fresh the taste even better very happy with the service I called in to ask if I could get some ox tail gravy on my rice because there is no option to add and they were very nice and added it for me 10/10 would recommend!

I find the place really good and with decent amount of food for the price. So with those two things makes it's a top pick for me.
