• 7/13/26If you haven't tried Birria Don Jose, you need to. The quality of the food really surprised me. My reccomendation is the burrito, unlike most packed-full burritos, it does not sacrifice flavor or quality at all. You can't go wrong with the quesabirria either, it's the best I've had in the treasure valley. Can't recommend enough to give this place a shot!

• 3/7/26We've had the quesabirria and taco birria a couple times. It is absolutely addictive!! No other birria we've had comes close to how good it is at Birria Don Jose. The portions are generous and the consomme is divine. You also get a cup of chopped cucumber and onion in a juice that is spicy and fresh. So good! Since I think about this birria all the time, I will definitely order this again.

Both the carne asada and the pork tacos were bland and dry. They were only made slightly better by the included sides (salsas, jalapeño, lime, etc.)
Quesabirria was very disappointing. They were SWIMMING in grease/ oil to the point where we couldn't even pick them up. The birria itself tasted fine, however the actual quesadilla was basically inedible. We couldn't even finish them.
The prices were fair and the portion sizes were good, just overall not worth it when there are so many better places around. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

• 11/22/25I love their food! Best street tacos for their price and they don't cheat you on the meat either! I love they're on DoorDash, and everything is always packaged very well not like some places I won't mention!

• 9/7/25some of the best food i've ever had. tortillas were perfectly crisp, the meat was tender and juicy and the cheese was perfectly gooey. can't wait to order again
