As usual the meal was good and filling. The pancakes were fluffy, sweet and delicious the blueberry Consummate was great also had a cold brewed vanilla iced coffee which was good. I definitely recommend Black Bear Restaurant for those who want a good meal any time they are close to one

Meatloaf is one of my favorite comfort foods and the meatloaf made by Black Bear Diner is top notch. The portion size of the meatloaf was also at least half again as large as the meatloaf served at Perkin's; so this was a good value. The clam chowder was excellent with just the right number of clams and diced potatoes. The coconut cream pie was large enough for two generous slices.

Mashed potatoes were hard, French Fries were burnt and very little veggies in the Slow-Cooked Pot Roast. Literally two slices of carrots, 2 potatoes and 2 slices of celery. No mushrooms and the onions was just a mushy mess. The roast itself was great, the green beans side was great but all else was very disappointing.

The Breakfast Club Melt has been a favorite and so has their veggie omelette. All of their food is great and prepared fresh. They've also got great coffees whether iced or hot. Definitely a favorite breakfast spot in my household!

The blackberry burn ribs, oh my goodness! Where to even start, they are so delicious! The balance between peppery and sweet was completely on point. My mom had the berry salad. It's MASSIVE! And smelled so good I almost wanted to trade with her. She loved it and has enough left for her lunch tomorrow. We have eaten at black bear multiple times, always have been satisfied, but these items are definitely the best we've had from there
