The driver arrived very quickly
The bag with the food in it was very heavy.
When I opened the styrofoam container, there was a baked sweet potato that could be a side dish for four people. The turkey was tasty but a little on the dry side.
There were two dinner rolls and plenty of peas.
I think I got the regular turkey dinner, not the senior turkey dinner.

Fried Chicken Breast is a go to comfort food for me - with the mashed potatoes & Mac n Cheese. The Mile High Chocolate Cake is large enough for 2 people & is super chocolatey!!

This has got to be the laziest"Irish Pie" I've ever had.just mashed potatoes with gravy on top, absolutely lazy. I am disappointed in the cooks, can't even dain to call them chefs. Barely any meat, basically a ladleful of veggies and sauce mixed in with a sprinkle of cheese. Grew up going here with the family, don't know if I could spend $20+ a plate again if this is the quality I can expect.

I've eaten at this Black Eyed Pea a few times now, takeout and dine in, and every time my meal leaves something to be desired. I'm not a picky eater in the slightest, for what it's worth. Hand to god. I would recommend going pretty much anywhere else, there are lots of tasty places at this price point that will give you a meal that's a billion times better.
They do have some tasty appetizers and dishes but nothing that really stands out. Everything else, ranges from subpar to inedible. The peach cobbler tasted horrible, like peach flavored baby oil soaked into prison bread. Meatloaf is a good $25 and it's not bad, but it's school lunch quality and does not reflect it's price point at all. Please, I beg you, ask your elderly companion who wants to dine here to go elsewhere. Please!!

Delivery person did fine. But the shrimp breading all fell off when you picked them up. Don't know if they were undercooked or breading watered down or what? There was no cocktail sauce as ordered. My chicken fried chicken came as two small chicken tenders. We used to like black eyed pea. That's my third time a problem. Sad to see it go downhill.
