I ordered here tonight because they have jag, a Cape Verdean rice dish I havent had since childhood and never from a restaurant. It was excellent, as was the Mac and cheese. But honest the pulled pork was the Star! I was prepared for disapointment when I saw they had forgotten to include sauce this was ok. That meat was so well seasoned and juicy you dont need it!

Mannnnn, this was my first time trying this. So my girl was actually making whiting fish sandwhich for lunch. She said " i wish we had some "Cole slaw" . Me, being lazy, found this place with the Cajun slaw!!! Then i said mannnn Gramma Jesses Mac & Cheese sounds pretty dang good. And who doesnt love Cornbread? It was alllllll slamming. Cornbread was soft, im talking cake soft. If perfection existed it would be this. My grandma would probably slap me for enjoying this Mac n cheese as much as i did!! But a little competition is good right? That Cajun slaw got some kick to it. For real! I'll be back!

The Gramma Jesses Mac & Cheese wasn't very cheesy, it was more breadcrumby. Still tasty but not what I expected. The Hush Puppies were amazing!
