We order takeout from them too much lol but it's always amazing and fresh!!! Salmon Nigiri is my fave. The Chef's Specialty roll is always a hit as well. You can't go wrong!

1 star for horrible service.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I waited more than 30 minutes past my scheduled pickup time, and the staff seemed disorganized and couldn’t give a clear update. When I got home, the soup was cold and the container was less than half full. Not worth the $13 price. I think I'll go down the street to Kaiola next time

Blue ocean is usually pretty great, but recently the quality seems to have slipped a bit. The edamame was mushier this oatmeal. I miss the care and quality this spot used to have.
And it may not be a big deal, but nowadays they're stingy and charge you $1 for a side of eel sauce only to barely put any in the container.
Please, bring back the quality and care, I miss you blue ocean.

The highest quality Uni I've ever had. Such a fresh taste. The toro was perfect, and salmon is thick cut and delicious. I do delivery frequently from here, and it's the highest quality around.

The fish is always fresh but this pick up they forgot a 20$ roll. DD made it right. But the second issue is the size of the Salmon egg Nigiri. Two pieces are literally the size of a single piece (when we have ordered here before). Overall I feel like theyre screwing the takeout orders and being stingy. We spent 140 (pickup) and it's maybe enough for 1.5 people. SR, you can do better
