• 5/10/25We order takeout from them too much lol but it's always amazing and fresh!!! Salmon Nigiri is my fave. The Chef's Specialty roll is always a hit as well. You can't go wrong!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I waited more than 30 minutes past my scheduled pickup time, and the staff seemed disorganized and couldn’t give a clear update. When I got home, the soup was cold and the container was less than half full. Not worth the $13 price. I think I'll go down the street to Kaiola next time

• 5/19/23Blue ocean is usually pretty great, but recently the quality seems to have slipped a bit. The edamame was mushier this oatmeal. I miss the care and quality this spot used to have.
And it may not be a big deal, but nowadays they're stingy and charge you $1 for a side of eel sauce only to barely put any in the container.
Please, bring back the quality and care, I miss you blue ocean.

• 8/31/25The highest quality Uni I've ever had. Such a fresh taste. The toro was perfect, and salmon is thick cut and delicious. I do delivery frequently from here, and it's the highest quality around.

• 2/19/25Significant reduction in quality. The marine boy had very little salmon. The tuna had little fish for the price. Worst of all the rice was hard , as if it was old. Not what we have come to expect from this restaurant.
