Really enjoyed the Sacchetti pasta, very fresh, delicious and rich, so good for 2 meals. The Cavoletti di Bruxelle very flavorful and hard to stop eating. The limoncello cake also very good, but small.

Honestly terrible value and quality for the Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken is pounded extremely thin and the breading VERY thick, the exact opposite of what I would want from chicken parm. The pasta was at least cooked aldente and tasty, the chicken was basically all breading and not all that edible. Can't see myself ordering again

The portions are comical small for the price as you can see - $19 for something smaller than my hand. The gnocchi tastes frozen - they are quite dense and the sauce is bland, though that might be because there is so little of it. Disappointing.

The sausage on the Salsiccia e Funghi Pizza was undercooked and the Margherita Pizza - a menu item that's relatively easy to make and wonderful when done right - was thoroughly forgettable. It came (in)complete with exactly one leaf of basil and an abundance of bland. We opted for an appetizer of Calamari Fritti and called in a request for a simple side of marinara sauce which we were assured would not be a problem but then was nowhere to be found. In a city where great food is the norm but late night bites can be hard to find, Bottega was a big disapointment.

Pros: The Mezzemaniche Boscaiola was excellent
Salsiccia e Funghi Pizza was on point, but a little soggy in the center (fresh tomato sauce, fresh mushroom, fresh everything)
Cons: If that's extra sauce, I don't want to know what it's like with the standard amount of sauce. There was barely enough to coat the noodles, no residual sauce to dip the bread in (that I paid for)
There had to have been less than 3 ounces of meat in the pasta. I had to add my own prosciutto and salami just to up the protein. The pizza had probably 2.5x the protein and it was $3 cheaper.
4/5 due to the ratio in the pasta and the sogginess of the pizza, but 5/5 for quality of ingredients
I don't know if I could spend $50 pretip, on the lackluster protein and sauce ratio again, but great quality
