The Bristol has been one of my favorite local restaurants for 25 years. Their quality had suffered a bit through the pandemic, but I am thrilled to say the quality is back! Burgers were cooked perfectly and delicious, generously topped with blue cheese and bacon! Same for the green chili wontons.

Bristol Fish Fish is very spicy, didn't say it was spicy on menu . Disappointed, I removed the breading.Good portions. Forgot onions.
Cranberry Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce looks delicious and it is!

Definitely not as pictured! Very small for $23. Dry with hardly no sauce. Ordered (2) for a total of $63. Not worth it!

This meal is definitely one of the best I've ever had in my life! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The Pork Dijonnaise was succulent and the potatoes were crispy but still pillowy morsels from heaven. The Cranberry Bread Pudding was the perfect note to end the night with and its flavors completed the most amazing orchestra of flavors I've encountered in a long time. Please give them a try if you've been considering it. I dined like royalty tonight.

The Crab Cakes appetizer appears to be getting smaller and smaller. What else is new? The dinner portion does as well. It also hasn't been served with the delicious (pictured) side in quite some time. The appetizer was also served on a bed of wilted brown lettuce. I guess it doesn't matter because it's DoorDash, right? It honestly made me laugh because you could’ve just left it out or done something different. If the lettuce isn’t keeping, re-evaluate the menu and use it for more things, so that you’re keeping fresh produce. Whatever though, I doubt the restaurant/management even looks at these.
The Bristol Green Chili Wontons were delicious as always! But the $15 price tag for 8 (or was it more?) is always a little painful. These are my special treat because I don’t like deep frying at home. I need to change the way I feel about that one. These are half the reason I come to Bristol of course. I’m sure the price will be $20 for an 8 piece in a few months.
The Sauteed Spinach wasn't sautéed. It appears they applied a little heat and dumped a little seasoning on top. I hesitated to order it knowing its an easy dish but I didn't have any on hand, and the point of DoorDash for me is after a long day at work I can sometimes treat myself and not worry about not having something on hand that I have a taste for.
I always tell my boyfriend I love Bristol. I ate here a LOT with family and friends over the years. It was our spot! And thankfully, we are still fortunate enough to still be able to eat out, but our last in person experience wasn't satisfactory to him either. The price for what you get just isn't worth it. He said he'd prefer we not return. I've still doordashed it for myself - twice recently, but I find myself very disappointed with what I received. For what we paid that day, we got a smorgasbord of a meal from a family restaurant. Which we felt was money well spent/a good value. Bristol, not so much anymore.
