The calzones were like folded thin crust pizzas so not a lot of bread like some places. Very tasty.

The first time I ordered the Brooklyn Calzone, it was delicious, with a generous amount of ricotta. I ordered again tonight and was beyond disappointed, there was barely any ricotta and the calzone was dry and tough. Do not recommend.

I'm from Jersey so I was so excited when I saw a place that only did calzones! The flavor was decent, bacon had weird texture. Imagine my disappointment when 2 calzones showed up in 1 box. I seriously thought my order wasn't complete. 2 soggy 2 flat 2 over priced. looked like little ceasers cheesy stick but soggier.

My review was rewritten. They left out the most important part. There was a full handful of chopped raw garlic that made it almost inedible. Fortunately (or rather unfortunatly) the pieces were just big enough to scrape off. And the dough was undercooked.
If you don't LOVE garlic do not get.

I've ordered from here before and the calzone looked just like the picture and tasted good. This Red Hook Calzone looked nothing like the picture and tasted blah. Dough was undercooked and the filling tasted generic. No real flavor. Bad late night decision.
