The ribs, fried chicken and smoked sausage we ordered were all excellent. That being said every side dish we ordered was also excellent! Many restaurants fall ways short in the sides department. They're southern style green beans, collards, potato salad and cornbread were the standouts but everything we ordered was delicious!

Cornbread portions were great and tasted very goo. Eat like a king side portions were very small - especially as it is advertised as servings for 2-4 with two "large" sides. The sides were smaller than anticipated and smaller than what you would get in the store. The meat amount as well as quality was still good though. Meats serve 4 very hungry people no problem but sides I would considersmall - order more to be safe.

The entire plate needed seasoning. I mean it was bland, no salt no flavor other than the runny butter from the grits. The shrimps were still shelled and buried in the meal which I found to be strange because why would I wanna dig through my food to remove shells.

This place has really gone downhill since the last time I ordered a few months ago. Not sure if they changed ownership but the large side of brussel sprouts was only half full, they only gave 1 small cup of sauce for the 3 meat combo, the combo no longer comes with cornbread, brisket doesn't even taste smoked, and the coleslaw, yam, and collard green recipes changed for the worse. Probably not going to order again.
