Bruxie is one of my all-time favorite restaurants here in Davis. They had a rough patch for a hot minute, but I've seen a massive improvement in their food lately. I love the breakfast burrito with fried chicken and you can't sleep on the hot honey tenders and tots. They make all of their dressings and sauces from scratch, which is super awesome. The ranch is amazing. Some other favorites are the fried chicken brioche breakfast sando, smash burger and the sausage breakfast Sando.

Despite that the CHICKEN AND WAFFLE was really good. Both were crunchy and warm. The waffles are super light and fluffy inside. The spicy and Buffalo seasoning were both great!

Delicious!! Crispy waffle, creamy tart lemon cream, perfectly fresh berries!! The LEMON CREAM & BERRIES dish is FANTASTIC!!

The chicken texture was off, kinda rubbery, like the meat was cut the wrong direction or something, they were over fried to the point of a bit burnt, and they were small compared to their usual size. I usually like Bruxie a lot but this meal was subpar for them and if I hadn't been stuck at work, I probably would have brought it back.
